Method 1: Adding a notification through the dashboard

Pro tip: Use the dashboard for an easier way to manage your server's configuration. You also get access to more customization options.

  1. Head to https://dash.streamcord.io.

  2. Click on your server's name. If you don't see your server, check that you have the Manage Server permission and are logged in with the correct Discord account.

  3. Click the "Add Notification" button.

  4. Fill in the streamer's name, a text channel, and a message in the popup box. The notification message supports Discord markdown and custom formatting variables.

  5. Click "Add notification".

Congrats, you just created your first notification! Head over to the "notifications" tab on your server page to confirm that it's been created.

Method 2: Adding a notification through commands

Alternatively, if you don't want to use the dashboard, you can also add a notification through commands in Discord.

  1. Type !twitch notif add

  2. Enter the name of a text channel in your server. This is where Streamcord will send announcement messages.

  3. Enter the name of the Twitch streamer that you want to be notified of.

  4. Enter a custom message.

Now you've got your first notification set up. The next time that the streamer goes live, you'll receive a message in your notification channel!
